What do they test?
In an effort to measure academic readiness for university, they access mostly Grade 11 Core Maths syllabus content.
- It tests proficiency in such areas as problem solving and modeling, functions, trigonometry, spatial perception, and probability
How long is the test?
- AQL (Academic Quantitative Literacy) is one multiple-choice test of three hours writing time.
- MAT (Core Maths) is also a multiple-choice test with three hours writing time.
- Both papers are written on the same day
